Can I hardwire my Extender 5?

Absolutely. Just connect an ethernet cable between your Extender 5 and your Gateway.

From time to time you may experience an issue, like not being able to connect to an Extender 5, or lights flashing on the
device. Review the issues below to resolve your problem:


How do I know if my Extender 5 is set up and working correctly?


The top 2 lights will be green when the
Extender 5 has a good signal
.

Why are the lights on my Extender 5 red?


If the top two lights on your Extender 5 are solid red or flashing red, the
Extender 5 does not have a clear signal and will need to be moved
closer to the Gateway or another Extender 5
.

Why are the lights on my Extender 5 flashing green?

If the top two lights on your Extender 5 are both flashing green, the Extender 5 needs to be reconnected.

How do I connect a device, like my phone, to Extender 5?


Your Extender 5 is part of your Smart WiFi network.

So any time you're connected to your home WiFi, your device will
switch automatically
to the strongest WiFi point, whether it's your
Extender 5 or your Gateway.
