BRIC Arts /Media/Brooklyn, Inc. is an independent, not-for-profit organization, established under the Cable Television Franchise Agreement between the City of New York and Optimum. BRIC Arts/Media/Brooklyn produces BCAT Television. The BCAT TV Network cablecasts on Optimum channels 67-70.

Brooklyn Free Speech TV provides Brooklyn residents and organizations with an opportunity to voice their ideas, issues and aspirations to their community. Every week, over 650 hours of television programming is provided by Brooklyn-based community producers. Many of the Brooklyn Free Speech TV programs are created by one of the BCAT Media Center Certified Community Producers. Certified producers have access to use our equipment and state-of-the-art facility free of charge.

Bronx

BronxNet is an independent, not-for-profit organization, established under the Cable Television Franchise Agreement between the City of New York and Optimum. BronxNet provides local television by the people of the Bronx, for the people of the Bronx. The BronxNet cablecasts on Optimum channels 67-70.

BronxNet has a commitment to training Bronx residents in television production, providing hands-on internships and solid media career preparation for high school and college students, and producing programs in the interest of Bronx residents and not-for-profit organizations.
