Welcome to Optimum Online's Automatic E-mail Setup. We will guide you through this simple process of updating your computer so that you may access your Optimum Online e-mail via Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.
Before getting started, please ensure that you meet the following requirements.
1. Do you have a primary e-mail address?
You must have an Optimum Online e-mail account to automatically set up Outlook or Outlook Express. The primary e-mail address is typically in the name of the Optimum Online account holder.
You should have obtained your primary e-mail address when you registered your Optimum Online service or by using the CD provided with the Self-Installation kit. If you do not have an e-mail address, click here and follow the instructions on the screens.
This program should only be used for setting up the primary e-mail address and not sub-accounts. Please follow these instructions if you are trying to create additional inboxes for sub-accounts.
2. Does your computer meet the system requirements?

You must use one of the following versions of Outlook or Outlook Express.
To find out which version you are running, open Outlook/Outlook Express, click on "Help" and then "Outlook Properties".
4. Are you using Internet Explorer?
This program must be accessed from Internet Explorer. If you are using Netscape, please close the window and start Internet Explorer before beginning.
If you meet ALL these requirements, please close all applications on your computer and click "Continue".
